1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules for using the Jawwws Gnaww website and Early Access services, including enquiries, submitted print requirements, Producer Capability Profiles, SpecMatch™ results, and related services. This policy forms part of our Terms of Use.

By using Gnaww, you agree to comply with this policy. We may update it from time to time and will notify users of material changes.

2. Prohibited activities

You must not use Gnaww to:

  • Engage in, facilitate, or promote any illegal activity under the laws of England and Wales or any other applicable jurisdiction.
  • Conduct or support phishing, malware distribution, scams, impersonation, fraud, or deception.
  • Submit or distribute harmful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, harassing, or infringing content.
  • Misrepresent your identity, your organisation, or your relationship to a buyer or producer.
  • Bypass restrictions or other enforcement actions, including circumventing a suspension.
  • Send or distribute spam through enquiries, submissions or any other feature.

3. Submission rules

You are responsible for the enquiries, requirements and capability information you submit through Gnaww. This includes ensuring that:

  • Information you submit is lawful and does not describe or point to malicious, harmful or illegal content.
  • Your submissions do not infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
  • You do not submit content that is intentionally misleading, including inaccurate capability information or misrepresented requirements.
  • You have the necessary rights and permissions for all content you submit, including any personal or commercially sensitive information (which you should not submit unless it is necessary for the service you are requesting).

4. Security and integrity

You must not:

  • Perform security testing, penetration testing, or vulnerability scanning against the service without our prior written permission.
  • Scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer any part of the service beyond what is expressly permitted.
  • Use automated tools or scripts to abuse, overload, or interfere with the service's infrastructure or other users' access.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data that do not belong to you.

5. Data collection

You must not:

  • Use Gnaww to unlawfully collect personal data about individuals.
  • Use information obtained through Gnaww, including capability or matching information, in a way that violates applicable data protection law.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected breaches of this policy and to take appropriate action, including:

  • Issuing warnings.
  • Removing content that breaches this policy.
  • Suspending or restricting access to the service.
  • Cooperating with law enforcement, regulators, or other authorities where required or appropriate.

Where there is an urgent risk to users, the public, our infrastructure, or the company, we may take immediate protective action without prior notice.

7. Reporting abuse

If you believe that Gnaww is being used in breach of this policy, please report it to us at abuse@jawwws.com.

Please include a description of the concern and any relevant detail that will help us investigate.
