Jawwws Gnaww is a Print Intelligence API. It turns messy print intent into structured, production-ready specifications and uses SpecMatch™ to connect those requirements with compatible producer capability.
Why it exists
Print has a translation problem. Buyers, software and producers describe requirements and production capability differently, while useful production knowledge is spread across websites, catalogues, spreadsheets, APIs, MIS data and people's experience. Gnaww turns those different inputs into a common, structured intelligence layer so demand and production capability can be understood and compared by people, software and AI.
A permanent identity for what gets made
Once a requirement is exact enough to manufacture, Gnaww can resolve the physical definition to a Recipe. The same physically equivalent product resolves to the same Recipe ID, regardless of who orders it, who produces it or how many are made. Quantity, turnaround, destination and other job-specific requirements remain separate.
That gives print a durable identity for the physical thing itself, which can be reused across matching, production, connected software and future physical experiences.
Make production capability AI-ready
Producers can connect catalogues, websites, spreadsheets, APIs and production knowledge to Gnaww. Once structured and approved, that capability can be made understandable to connected buyers, software and AI agents without forcing the producer to rebuild its business around another storefront. Public and private capability can remain deliberately controlled.

Founder of Jawwws. Former CTO of The Printed Group, where he helped lead Printed.com from a small London ecommerce start-up into a vertically integrated print technology and manufacturing business, bringing production in-house and building the print API that later launched publicly as PrintedDirect.
